In Australia, the driest continent on Earth, water is a commodity akin to gold.  Water industry companies are under pressure to improve their performance in managing this scarce resource.

The industry is undergoing major reform, including renewal and transformation of business processes, to ensure improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. Companies are taking a whole-of-system approach and rethinking strategic planning and execution efforts.

Case Study

Litmus was engaged by a Victorian Government owned retail water business in Melbourne, to undertake an assessment and feasibility of a business wide transformation project that would facilitate the achievement of strategic business objectives through implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning.

The Litmus team provided strategic advisory services and developed a business case for the transformation project with a 10 year projected view of anticipated costs and benefits.  The business case incorporated elements of Procurement, Benefits Realisation, Financial Modelling and Process Evaluation.

Litmus has continued its involvement to deliver the program and articulated benefits.
